Andre’s Corner

In your corner, where champions are made.

Our mission is to support student athletes in need by removing financial barriers to youth sports participation. We recognize that financial hardship can arise from many situations – including limited income, medical expenses, time away from work due to illness, job loss, or other unexpected life events. Our focus is on ensuring no student is excluded from sports due to financial limitations. Common costs include registration and participation fees, appropriate footwear, uniforms, and practice gear.

We provide support that removes economic obstacles so a student athlete can survive by:

every student athlete deserves a chance to step into their destiny.

When students are able to participate in athletics, the benefits ripple outward. For children and teens, access to athletic programs can be transformative.

Sports participation supports

01

Physical Health

Regular physical activity contributes to health, coordination, and flexibility and reduces the risk of obesity and health related issues.

02

Mental and Emotional Well-being

Team sports build self-esteem, discipline, resilience, and stress management. Physical activity is linked to reduced anxiety and depression.

03

Social Skills & Academic Outcomes

Athletics foster teamwork, leadership, time management, and problem-solving.

When financial barriers stop participation, youth miss out of developing experiences that build lifelong success. Providing shoes and essential gear does more than equip an athlete; it restores opportunity, confidence, and belonging.

In Memory of

This work is inspired by the legacy of energy and passion embodied by Andre Green, Maggie’s son. In his memory, we strive to provide support to every young athlete for the chance to strive in the sports arena. Whether on the court as player, sidelines as a volunteer coach, or in the stands encouraging his family - Andre believed the power of encouragement, teamwork, and mentorship could make a difference.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:11
